Dream Destination

The 2023 edition of the WTA (World Travel Awards) has come to an end, leaving our country with four extraordinary awards. During the last week of August, the results were published and Peru ended up being the leading destination, winning in the categories Leading Destination in South America, Leading Cultural Destination and Leading Cultural Destination in the Region. Among the previous category nominees we could find Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Bolivia, Colombia, Ecuador, Paraguay and Uruguay. Last year, Chile was the winner, but this year Peru stole the first place. The main tourist attractions include the Historic Center of Lima, with the Plaza de Armas, the Lima Cathedral, the National Museum of Anthropology and Archeology, among others.
